Peer-to-Peer Confidentiality Agreement

When we gather (The Porch, The Barn, group workbooks, community events), we protect each other's stories. This is the agreement everyone in the room makes.

As a participant in Heart of Care groups, workshops, or community events, I agree that: 1. What is shared in the room stays in the room. I will not repeat another person's story, name, or identifying details outside the group without their explicit permission. 2. I will not photograph, record, or livestream anyone else without asking first. 3. I understand Heart of Care staff cannot guarantee confidentiality on behalf of other participants — this agreement asks each participant to hold that line. 4. I understand the mandated-reporting exceptions still apply to Heart of Care staff (see Mandated Reporter Notice). 5. If someone violates this agreement, I can bring it to a Heart of Care team member privately and we will address it directly and gently.
