The Story Behind These Magnets
The Honey Badger is Briana — a Georgia-born trauma-informed assemblage folk artist, Certified Peer Specialist-Mental Health (CPS-MH), Peer-Based Specialist (PBT), and a Georgia State Respect Institute speaker with fourteen years in recovery. She makes each set by hand from salvaged bits, found color, and the same stubborn hope that carried her through. Every set includes two magnets per set — two small affirmations that beauty can be rebuilt from broken pieces, and that a grandmother’s hands still have healing work to do.
No two sets are alike. Some are gentle. Some are loud. All of them are meant to hold a grocery list, a child’s drawing, or a note to yourself that says, “I am still here.” Because a little art on the fridge should be for everybody.
