Artist statement

I'm Briana F. Harden — the Honey Badger. Certified Peer Specialist of Mental Health (CPS-MH, PBT/PCA) and Georgia State Respect Institute speaker. I'm a bohemian Southern folk assemblage artist working in a crow-like, surrealist way — I upcycle, I gather, I do things my way.

This is a reliquary — a small sacred vessel for the tender wild parts of a life. Layered from recycled papers, netting, pearls, botanicals, and a vintage cameo, it holds the softness and the grit side by side. Trauma-informed care art, made for someone who knows both.
