Two Boxes on the Steps

Somebody saw us. Somebody sent a blessing. The Honey Badger cried.

Yesterday, when I got home from running around with my client, we had been to the police station, the zoning board, and the Gateway Community Service Board. We took care of the errands we needed to take care of. We got back to the Cat Nap Inn — the Heart of Care Full Spectrum Community Treatment Service office — and there were two Amazon boxes on the front steps.

To my surprise. To the Honey Badger's surprise.

I took them inside the house and opened them. I was shocked. There was cat food in there. Toilet paper. Towels for the mobile pop-up unit, or for clients to help them bathe, or for the homeless community. There were Oreos for the Honey Badger. I know those were for me. Those are for me. I'm not sharing those. LOL.

Two Amazon boxes of blessings on the Cat Nap Inn kitchen table — cat food, toilet paper, Milk-Bones, rinse-free bath sponges, towels, and Oreos.
The contents of two unexpected boxes — cat food, toilet paper, towels, bath sponges, Milk-Bones, and Oreos — spread on the Cat Nap Inn table.

I just feel so blessed. We are so blessed.

Thank you so much, whoever is looking out for us. You are an angel and you are a blessing from God. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This will help us so much. I can't tell you how much I cried, because I have felt so unseen. I have felt so unheard. I have felt angry and tired because I have been trying so hard and I didn't think anybody noticed.

God bless you.

Honey and teeth. But today, mostly tears of gratitude. ✿
